We were tasked with creating a short film that tested continuity and had to include a package being transferred between 2 or more people that featured a camera movement and different shots.
We used an eye line match for the scene when billy waits for the car. we used a close up for billys face. The lighting wasn't done very well in this scene due to the natural lighting on the car even though its meant to be the villain in the car completely mixing around purity and darkness. However these two scenes were filmed on different days as the footage we originally shot wasn't good enough in quality
This close up of the stabbing went quite well although an improvement would be to shoot it more closer with the knife being in clear sight because it would give a much better interpretation as to what it is.
This shot was what didn't make the above shot great due to the not very well done close up here. he's meant to be stabbed but he doesn't seem like he has been. some improvements could be made such as special effects. The shot angle was done from above to show the villain looking down on the hero after killing him
In this shot we used the villains shadow to create a more ominous tone so that a face isn't revealed making suspense build better. using natural light to of course create the shadow gives an impression that even in plain daylight this villain is so well blended in that he can freely walk the streets.
In the final shot it has the villain walking away with the battle against the hero. we used a worms eye view to show how weak the hero was compared to the villain. the camera then fades to black which puts up some mystery and also indication of the world now turns dark due to the villainous force in possession of whatever is in the package.
The music used for this is an action style of music with a trailer vibe being very dramatic and tense throughout.
With this exercise I learnt that film production is time consuming and won't always be perfect the first recording or edit. I found myself thoroughly enjoying the recording and acting sections of this production.
This scene fades in from the opening establishing shot to show that it's going inside the building in vision. We used a match on action for the scene where the Antagonist stabs a picture of the protagonist showing the rivalry and violent actions of the antagonist. We used low lighting to create a seemingly evil and ominous tone. The camera was put above and faced down so that the face of the antagonist is hidden.

Lochlan this is very short and underdeveloped. I don't think it would actually pass if it was assessed work because you have not completed it and the bits you have done don't really give proper explanations of the techniques.
